From Wall Street to Development Economics to Tax to Public Policy
2011 (14 years old): Deciding to Study Economics
2014 (18 years old): Deciding to Pursue a PhD in Economics in order to advance my chances of working on Wall Street
Winter 2015 (18 years old): Taking on the challenge of an Applied Mathematics minor, diverging from previous plans to study international relations alongside Economics
Winter 2016 (19 years old): Interest in working on Wall Street dwindles as newfound passion for development and poverty work rose
Fall 2016 (20 years old): Realizing that my passion for development was more aligned with a passion for public policy, specifically tax reform
Spring 2017 (21 years old): Officially accepting a role to Intern at EY, allowing me to "dip my toes" in the corporate world
Summer 2017 (21 years old): Accepting an offer to return to EY as a full time employee after graduation
Fall 2017 (21 years old): Examining the possibilities of a Masters in Public Policy
Spring 2018 (22 years old): Graduating from UW with College Honors, a BS in Economics and a minor in Applied Math
